ABOUT DWAYNE
Dwayne was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and later moved to and was raised in the U.K. Adapting to life in the U.K. was not an easy transition at first. Dwayne was often labeled as “disruptive” and “rebellious” for exhibiting behaviours that were considered “the norm” in his country of origin. However, being a quick learner and possessing an exceptional ability to adapt, Dwayne soon learned to thrive, excel, and contribute to society. He went on to start businesses and employ many people, making it his mission to help others succeed regardless of their circumstances.
Dwayne embraced mantras such as “disruptive,” “rebellious,” and “immigrant,” often wearing these labels as symbols of resilience and empowerment. He sought to inspire others who were similarly labeled, demonstrating that it is possible to redefine or rise above such labels. Dwayne believes that success is not determined by where one starts or the challenges they face, but by the strength of one’s character and determination to overcome adversity.

WORKING
I wasn't always good, but know I have tried since then. Now I'm just a guy wanting to make people proud.
When my own mother (whom I swore would never beg anyone again) begged me with tears flowing from her eyes while trying to find a job to put food in our bellies and try and keep the roof over our heads, I had to do a 360 in my life. I had to find a way to respect the sacrifices my parents were making to raise me and do my part, that meant taking opportunities I would never consider before, and doing things I would have never considered doing. It felt wrong and at first i chaffed under this new approach but i owed it to myself and them to try and be a good kid despite how much ridicule would have come from it, as my circumstance taught me to have vision beyond sight, you have to do different to have different and i was done being a statistic or a stereotype. One lady gave me a chance I wasn't given before and thats all I needed to change my trajectory.
